Do you take insurance?

Yes, insurance is an option! While I primarily work on a private-pay basis, I partner with Verse Therapy to provide services through insurance. If you’d like to use insurance, simply reach out to Verse Therapy through my profile, and they’ll handle getting everything set up for you. When you call, let them know if you'd like to see me in person, and they’ll take care of the details.

How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?

There are speech and language developmental milestones that you can monitor to make sure your child is on track. Call or email today to book your free initial consultation! This 15-minute phone call with Kelli will allow you to express your concerns and determine if speech therapy is recommended.

How long will they need speech therapy?

Because each person is different, each treatment plan and prognosis will also be different. Unfortunately, there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to speech therapy. A prognosis will vary based on the severity of the diagnosis and their responsiveness to treatment approaches. Family involvement is shown to lead to better and faster treatment outcomes, which is why we try to involve our families as much as possible. 

Where are therapy services provided?

Refined Minds Speech Therapy provides boutique speech therapy in home or in the community. Online/virtual therapy is also available as an added convenience.  

My child goes to daycare. Are you able to go there?

Of course! With permission from the parent and day care, we can provide speech therapy on location and provide coaching to day care workers and teachers. 

What can I expect from a speech session?

Each client's therapy is completely individualized and will be adjusted accordingly. Session times range from 30-60 minutes and may take place once or twice per week, depending on diagnosis and availability. Each session includes pre-treatment discussion time with caregivers, 1:1 therapeutic activities, progress documentation and discussion, and review of home carryover strategies
